HOW TO USE

Preparation: Diamond Dust is a multi-purpose lightener with the change of Limitless Crème Developer. Mixed with 3.5 (1.05%), 5 (1.5%), 10 (3%), 20 (6%) or 30 (9%) to change lightening power. The suggested mixing ratio is 1:2 but can be mixed 1:1.5 for a thicker consistency in a non-metallic bowl with plastic applicators and measured with scales. The lower the developer the gentler the lightning process will be. For applications that require contact with the scalp use a 20Vol (6%) developer or lower.

Application: For best results ensure your ratio consistency and the processing time is carefully chosen and correct to suit your client and the service your providing. The powder should be evenly applied to achieve a stable and balanced lift. Developing times can vary due to hair condition, skin sensitivity, and desired results. Carefully assess the hair every 5-10 minutes during processing, maximum developing time should be 50 minutes. (DO NOT proceed if an adverse reaction occurs such as itching, a rash or burning occurs, immediately rinse off with cool or lukewarm water.) Remove lightener with lukewarm to cool water and proceed with a shampoo.

Skin Sensitivity Test: To do this, take a teaspoon of powder and mix it with a teaspoon of water, stir well until a creamy consistency. Apply a small amount to the inside of the elbow, leave uncovered for 45 minutes. If irritation occurs during test rinse immediately. After 45 minutes wash off the mixture with water. Leave for 48 hours to see if a reaction occurs. If irritation or reaction occurs do not proceed with the bleach on the scalp. Also advised to do prior strand test on the hair.
